26 June – 5 September: Christopher Summer Festival

The Christopher Summer Festival is a diversity of world music in Vilnius’s most beautiful spaces. Having earned the EFFE Label, the event continues to prove that there is no wrong time or place for music.

For the first time ever, The Gesualdo Six will be coming to Lithuania. This is one of the UK’s strongest vocal ensembles that is carrying on the tradition of male a cappella music. The group is dedicating the performance in Vilnius, on the eve of the feast day of St Christopher (whom the festival was named for), to the capital’s 700th anniversary, and will be presenting a bouquet of works that will unfold in all their beauty in the Church of St Catherine.
