New Baltic Dance

Celebrations and festivals abound in the lead-up to Vilnius’ 700th anniversary, including the New Baltic Dance international contemporary dance festival. Yoann Bourgeois’ performance Temporary Solutions for a Suspended Moment, which quickly became the festival’s highlight and a gift to the still-young Vilnius, invited us to explore the extraordinary limits of the human body, current world affairs, unexpected ideas, and even achieving the seemingly impossible – time control.
